We need your help to get uniforms for 12 new Scout Troops and 384 Afghan Scout youth in 6 southern provinces!

Our Scouts are mostly orphans and do not have families to support them. Donations to our Afghan Scouts, whether through direct donations, our Collectable Badge initiative, or through purchases in our Online Store go directly to supporting and expanding our Scout troops.

It takes $2500 to start a new troop, $1000/year to maintain a troop, $500 to train a Scout Master, and $50 to enlist one new Scout in a troop. Please support our fundraising efforts (below) or make a Direct Donation Here

Thank you to all our supporters!

Donations to the Afghan Scouts

Your donations to the Afghan Scouts will help finance current and future programs, changing the lives of Afghan children and educating the next generation.

PARSA’s Afghan Scouts program is overseen by the Afghanistan Scout Volunteers Society and the administration for the core program and existing troops are funded by government grants, but we rely completely on grassroots donations  in order to expand the Scouts further, start new troops and fund their uniforms, and run activity and community service days.

As a donor to the Scout program, we invite you to let us know what aspect of the Afghan Scouts you are most interested in supporting. The cost of purchasing a new Scout uniform for a potential future Scout is only $45. The cost to start an entire troop of 32 youth is $2500. To help a troop turn one of their regular weekly meetings into an exciting activity-day field trip, including transportation, food and supplies, requires a contribution of $400.
